LGBT+ In Manaus

The “Paris of the tropics” as it was formerly known, has a rather hectic alternative night to the north of the country. Over the years the opening of nightclubs aimed at the LGBT + public only increased, as did tolerance and respect on the part of the population.

The population of Manaus usually respects the regulars of LGBT + nightclubs, the city occupies the 11th place in the raking of accusations of crimes against the LGBT + community for every 100 thousand inhabitants in Brazil according to the Local Human Rights Watch.
