The Mermaid Hotel is the newest tourist destination in the heart of the Amazon.

It is located on the Uatumã River, in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, surrounded by more than 300 beautiful waterfalls.

Access to Mermaid Hotel is only via a river, passing through the famous Balbina road (AM240) , the road that gives access to dozens of waterfalls.

It is 230 km from the city of Manaus Capital of Amazonas and 116 km from Presidente Figueiredo

Arriving at the bridge over the Uatumã River on the AM240, 50 meters after the bridge, you will find the famous Ramal da Morena (one of the most beautiful branches in the State of Amazonas) on your right and follow until the end where Porto da Morena is and then navigate by boat or speedboat to Mermaid Hotel enjoying the contrast of the forest, and the houses of the riverside people, passing by the incredible Igarapé do Boto where the pink dolphin always appears to welcome visitors.

The Uatumã River offers its visitors options such as sport fishing, fishing for their own consumption, adventure to see alligators, fantastic trails in the middle of the jungle and waterfalls that only visitors to the Uatumã River can experience.

The Mermaid Hotel has cozy chalets with a balcony and toilet and kitchen with capacity for 10 visitors at a time and only works with one group at a time so as not to cause an impact on nature since many wild animals lives nearby.

The group has the option of bringing their own food since they will be in the middle of the forest with no restaurants or shops where they can buy food, so those who prefer this package must bring everything they want to consume from the city for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Your own food – USD 70

Bringing your own food, the daily rate is 60 USD per person or 110 USD per couple.

Another option is to bring only your personal luggage and all food is at the expense of the inn with typical and gastronomic dishes always with everything fresh and finely prepared and the group still has the option to choose what they want to eat (fish, meat, country chicken, food vegan or vegetarian, etc).

Breakfast with tapioca, seasonal fruits, cake, home-made bread, always fresh juices, etc.

The package with food included it’s 120 USD per person or 160 USD per couple the daily rate.

From October to February there are many fresh fruits on the trees that everyone can pick and eat whenever they want.

Your choice

As we only work with one group at a time, the group has the option of practicing Naturism, watching birds, going on fishing adventures, accompanying the riverside people on hunting nights for their survival, or simply relaxing to the sound of the forest with the song of the howler monkey and the constant flocks of macaws, toucans, parrots, and other animals that come to visit us.

• Each group chooses its activities.
• Naturists are respected and alcohol consumption is prohibited on site.
• It is also forbidden to swim in Rio at night for your safety.
• For visitors we have a wonderful trail inside the inn with centenary trees and the forest extremely preserved and intact, there will always be an armed guide to accompany the group in case the jaguar is nearby.

The jaguars are calm here, as there is a lot of hunting due to the area being well preserved, however, the guide is always armed for everyone’s safety. Come and have this unusual experience in our amazing Amazon rainforest!

The daily rate includes:

• Trail in the facilities of the inn with a guide.
• Transfer by river from Porto da Morena
• If the package lasts for more than 3 days, it already includes a tour of the fantastic Boto waterfall, which has a river access that looks more like the ELDOURADO.

Guided walks in the waterfalls or sport fishing:

Prices for tours to the waterfalls or fishing depends on which waterfalls the group chooses. There are more than 300 waterfalls, some easily accessible that do not require a guide and others with long trails that require a guide, and the values are in the catalogue provided by the guide in the inn’s facilities. Fishing depends on the season whether it is high or low season. (Maximum 60 USD per person to see 3 waterfalls in 1 day)

1 day tour in Manaus that includes:

• Swim with porpoise
• Visit to an Indigenous Village in Parque das Tribos
• Visit to the pirarucu breeding site (the largest freshwater fish in the world)
• See the famous meeting of the waters of the Rio Negro with the Amazon River
