HARD TIMES-

During these tough times when COVID-19 has effect more than 2 million people around the world, certain groups of individuals are more effected than others.

And one of these groups are the Indians, that already have a difficult life in some aspects but that now need help more then never.

AN INITIATIVE-

Thinking about that, we from the Amazon Amazing Tours crew have created a new initiative called Preserve Indians Lives. Where we are gathering supplies like food, hygiene products, water, clothes, and other essentials, so the Indian people from some of the Amazon tribes can have their stocks refilled during the quarantine time.

Most of these tribes survive with the tourism money as they work receiving tourists, celebrating their ritual so they can watch, showing them their culture and selling them some handmade souvenirs and craftwork.

The tourism is not operating here in the Amazon area until the end of the year, when the predictions point to a stabilization of the COVID-19 curve that will allow the touristic activities to return.

So the indians and other people who work or depend of the tourism, will need as much help as possible for them to pass throught these hard times.

We plan to extend this social work to other people and communities around the Amazon area, and to be able to do this, we are partnering with other businesses, organizations, authorities and friends who can help us to achieve our goals donating supplies, cash, offering free medical services and assistance or helping us to distribute the donations for the Indian tribes of the region.
