ST 1 – TOUR – Departure at 8:00 am and return at 4:00 pm.
No one comes to Santarém without knowing Alter do Chão, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole region of North Brazil.
It is a small village located southwest of Santarém, near the beautiful beaches of the Tapajós River and Green Lake. The distance that separates Santarém from Alter, is approximately 35 km. Access by paved road. Arriving in Alter from the ground we will walk through the Village, visit the handicraft shops and contact with the villagers. We recommend wearing light clothing, bathing suit and sunscreen. Free time for bathing in the Tapajós river. In this tour is included mineral water.
ST 2 – RIVER – Departure at 8:00 am and return in the afternoon.
Regional boat cruise through the waters of the Tapajós River, with a stop at Ponta de Pedra, a beautiful beach of white sands, going on until reaching the exotic village of Alter do Chão. Tour accompanied by mineral water or soda. We will walk through the village,
Visit the craft shops and contact with the people of the village. We recommend wearing light clothing for bathing and sunscreen. Free time for bathing in the clear waters of Tapajós.
ST 3 – MEETING OF THE WATERS – DURATION OF 03 HOURS – Departure to be combined – Morning or Afternoon.
The boat ride to the phenomenon of the encounter of the waters, emerald green of the Tapajos and the clay of the Amazon, located in front of the city of Santarém, with its waters running parallel for 5 km without mixing. We will also make an entrance to Igarapé Açu (a small community near Santarém), with its typical landscape of Amazonian houses and their inhabitants. Mineral water is included in this tour. Do not forget to bring sunscreen.
ST 4 – REGIONAL BOAT RIDE – Maiquetia
Duration: 6 hours.
On board a regional boat until the meeting of the waters, two of the largest in the world Amazonas and Tapajós that run parallel to each other without mixing for a few Kilometers. The tour continues along the Tapajós river towards the lake of the community of Igarapé Açu for a canoe ride to the victories regias (Victoria regia depends on the level of the waters – Best time to see them from January to August). This tour focuses on the way of life of the riverside. Return to the Tapajós river, following the Lake of the Maicá, ecological sanctuary, with diversified and rich fauna and flora, not forgetting a stop for piranhas fishing. Included: mineral water.

ST 5 – CITY TOUR – duration 3 ½ hs
Departure at 8:00 p.m. Return at 11:30 p.m.
Places to visit. Regional port to observe the movement of boats and cargoes and passengers.
-Municipal Market with its variety of regional products such as fruits, vegetables, flour, fish and medicinal plants.
– Cathedral of N S da Conceição, patron of the city and being the oldest building.
– Handicraft sheets with ceramic pieces Tapajônica and souvenir.
-Centro Cultural a little of the history of Santarém.
-Museu Tip Frazão-Work Clothes with Seed.
– Mirante Square, to enjoy the meeting of the Amazonas and Tapajós rivers from a higher point
ST 6 – TAPAJÓS NATIONAL FOREST
Duration: 6-7 hours
Departure from the hotel at 7:00 am, followed by the Santarém Cuiabá highway for 83 km until the ICMBIO camp. Entrance of the Tapajós National Forest, which has an area of 650,000 hectares preserved since 1972, with large varieties of species of the Amazonian flora. It is a walk that depends on authorization of the ICMBIO, and that is represented by a forester, knower of the forest and that must accompany the whole walk, mineral water and snack is included in this tour. Light clothing and comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen.
ST 7 – ECOLOGICAL RIDE BY THE FOREST SANTA LUCIA.
Duration: 03 hours
This tour can be done in the morning or in the afternoon. It has its beginning in the highway Santarém Cuiabá, that is the unique terrestrial connection of this part of the Amazon to the other points of Brazil.
In km 08 when you reach an elevation of 158 meters above sea level, the guide will make a quick stop to contemplate a small part of the Tapajós and Amazonas river basin.
A few kilometers ahead we will leave the main highway, taking a secondary road with small stops to observe the plantations .. You will have the opportunity during the tour in the Bosque to see more than 200 different species of trees and palms, including the chestnut of Pará and Rubber tree.
It is recommended to wear light clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
