Emílio Goeldi Museum – An encounter marked by the charms of the Amazonian fauna and flora. An alternative of peace and tranquility in the center of the city. There is nothing similar in Brazil. The Goeldi preserves a good show of the humid tropical rainforest of the Amazon.

There, the tourist is confronted with agoutis, pacas, armadillos, and sloths, and sees such attractions as gigantic suckers, porcupines, manatees, kingfishers, tapirs, macaws, jaguars and Amazonian chelonians. Since its foundation in 1866, its activities have focused on the scientific study of the natural and socio-cultural systems of Amazonia, as well as on the dissemination of knowledge and collections related to the region.

 

Mangrove of the herons – Located on the banks of the river Guamá, in the surroundings of the historical center, the complex occupies an area of ​​about 30 thousand square meters that was revitalized and represents a synthesis of the Amazonian environment in the heart of the capital of Pará.

In the natural park, the visitor knows the different floristic macro-regions of the State, that is, the upland and lowland forests and the fields.

The Magal has a portico, restaurant, butterfly and hummingbird nursery, bird nursery, snack kiosks and a tower-lookout tower from where the tourist can visualize the unique landscape composed by the river Guamá and the green scattered throughout park. Ver-o-Peso Market – has more than 380 years, symbol of the city, is its biggest tourist attraction and the largest free trade show in Latin America. He was a candidate for one of the 7 Wonders of Brazil.

The market is part of an architectural and landscape complex, with a series of historical buildings, among them the Iron Market, the Meat Market, the Clock Square, the Dock, the Açaí Fair, the Ladeira do Castelo and Solar da Beira and Praça do Pescador. The set was dropped by IPHAN in 1997.

The village is a few minutes away from Bethlehem, you can hardly notice it when you finish the city and start the village. In the course the tourist has the opportunity to walk through a region where the city is growing.

In Icoaraci we visit the border, showing the beauty of the place and the privileged geographic position, where you can see the meeting of 3 rivers. In the border is the fair of the ceramics. After that, we will visit the ceramic factories in the neighborhood of Paracuri I. There will be shown the whole process of manufacturing the pottery, its painting, until it reaches the shelves.
