Emilio Goeldi Museum – A meeting  with the charms of Amazonian flora and fauna. An alternative for peace and tranquility in the city center. There is nothing similar in Brazil. The Goeldi preserves a good demonstration of the Amazon rainforest.

Mangal herons – Located on the banks of the river Guamá, surrounding the historic center, the complex occupies an area of about 42.000m2. Has been revitalized and represents a synthesis of the Amazonian environment in the heart of the capital.

In the naturalistic park, the visitor gets to know the different macro-flora of the state.

 

The Magal has a porch, restaurant, nursery butterflies and hummingbirds, bird rookeries, kiosks for snacks and a belvedere-lighthouse where tourists can see the unique landscape with the river and green Guamá spread throughout the park. Not to mention the sideshow of the sun setting. Near the entrance of the park is the old iron shed, there are exhibition and sale of plants and crafts. Ponds where they are wading birds, ducks and turtles. Visitors can also walk through the inner areas of nursery birds, hummingbirds and butterflies.

In addition, Mangal houses the Maritime Museum, a restaurant and a walkway over the valley, 100 meters long.

Pole Jeweller and Gem Museum – The building of the old prison took almost two years to be completely renovated. Today the site, which opened in October 2002, is making reference to the jewellery market and gems produced, by goldsmiths and the  talents designers of Para. Boarding the yacht Borari I, the tour follows the Bay of Guajará to Onça’s Island, entering  Furo of Monkeys, to enjoy the riverside communities, dedicated to the cultivation of acai, amazon fruit in demand worldwide and a staple food for the local people.

The route is excited by music and folk dances of Pará. In return, the yacht sails near the edge of town, a special moment for panoramic photos.

70 km from Belém, is the district of Mosqueiro It has 17 beaches which impresses with its  beauty and fresh water waves. It is located on the east coast of Pará River (the south arm of the Amazon), opposite the Bay of Marajó. It has attractions such as tapiocaria, where you can experience tapioca (regional food) with varied fillings, Church of Our Lady presented the image of Our Lady pregnant, and enjoy a nice bath of fresh water in the city beaches.

SCHEDULE

DAY 1

05:30am transfer from your hotel to the dock Station. From here take a regional boat down river with the destination of the village of Camara. Transfer to the Hotel Ilha do Marajó.

Afternoon visit to the mangrove area called “Barra Velha”, a place that stands out for the vegetation, where people fish crab in fresh water, bathed in the Bay of Marajó, complete the beauty of the region.

DAY 2

After breakfast, departure to the city of Salvaterra. The second largest city
of the island. Stop at Joanes, enjoy the regional boats & beaches. Afternoon departure is to visit a typical farm which creating Marajoara buffaloes and horses, still serving as Ninhal of birds with emphasis on the symbol of Marajó “The Guará.”

DAY 3

After breakfast depart for City Tour in Soure, with a visit to the main points of the city including Tannery (Processing Center of Craft Leather Buffalo), followed by a visit to the fishing village where the beach is the highlight of Fisheries with their coconut palms, white sand and tents. Leaving the hotel at 13:00 pm bound for the village of Camara for transfer back to Belem by regional boat, approximate arrival time 18:00pm.

DAY 1

05:30am Transfer hotel / port to embark on river transport with destination at the village of Camara, where awaiting vehicles that will transfer to the Hotel Ilha do Marajó. The afternoon departure is to visit a typical farm where creating Marajoara buffaloes and horses, still serving as Ninhal of birds with emphasis on the symbol of Marajó, “The Guará”.

DAY 2

After breakfast departure for City Tour in Soure with a visit to the main points of the city including Tannery (Processing Center of Craft Leather Buffalo), followed by a visit to the fishing village, where the beach is the highlight of Fishing with its coconut trees, white sand and tents.

Leaving the hotel at 13:00 pm bound for the village of Camara for transfer back to Belem by regional boat, approximate arrival time 1800pm.
